Thermostat Housing

The thermostat housing is the component that houses and positions the thermostat within the engine's cooling system. It bolts to the engine block or cylinder head and provides the connection points for coolant hoses leading to and from the radiator. It also seals the thermostat in place, ensuring coolant flows only through the intended passages and preventing leaks under pressure and temperature extremes.
